My first CNY!

Mummy hasnt updated my blog for ages cos she hasnt been too well.. but because she loves me so much and is afraid she will forget all the precious memories of my babyhood, she has decided to pull up her socks and start updating again!

It is my very first Chinese New year, and mummy and papa are thrilled cos they can 'recoup' some losses! In her usual shopaholic way, Ma Ma bought 5 new pretty outfits, and 3 sweet head bands from mothercare (so that relatives wont keep asking if i am boy or girl!) for me in preparation for CNY! Aren't I lucky??

Papa has always been highly amused by the weird poses I settle into when I am sleeping and is determined to capture each odd pose on camera! Of cos, kena scolding from mummy many many times for disturbing my sleep so often!

I can stand!

Mummy was very worried about my motor milestones.. not that I am slow, but apparently some babies in the july motherhood thread can already stand and crawl though they are only 6+ mths!

Hence, it was to mummy's great relief that I started to be more steady while standing.. and am able to sit properly without support.

This is my current fav position by the window.. can watch the world go by below, and feel the wind in my face.. what's not to like? :)

Boy boy no more!

Mummy is obsessed with me not looking like a boy, and makes sure pp do not have any excuses to ask if i am a boy! thus, she keeps trying to make me wear hats (which i hate), headbands (which i also do not like), and pink stuff (well, cant possibly protest against that YET).

Ma ma bought me my first headband from kiddy palace b4 i was born.. cost 9 freaking dollars (in mummy's words).. so mummy was determined to squeeze my big head in by hook or by crook! first, mummy placed it around my FP drums to enlarge it. next, although the circumference of the stretched headband is smaller than my head, papa decided to just yank it onto my head. i cried bloody murder of cos, but soon got distracted by my toys!

Here is the result of the rather disastrous experiment that left quite a mark on my head - papa's fault!

Go away and leave my FP drums alone! (papa cant believe it cost yeye and nainai 49 bucks! and is even more incredulous that they actually forked out so much for such a simple toy!)

PC addict!

My latest past time is playing computer games! yeap!! u didnt read wrongly! Its so fun! It must be fun right.. since papa can play from the moment he wakes up till the time he goes to bed!

After watching papa so many times, I have gotten quite adept at typing on the keyboard, and can even look up at the screen while typing! cool eh??

Porridge?? No thanks..

TOday mummy decided to give me some porridge as a change cos she thinks that my constipation is due to the HT cereal I am taking.

TADAAAHHHH... This is what she produced after 3 hrs of hard work in the kitchen chopping/boiling/pureeing and sieving :

To mummy's dismay, I didnt really like it very much but still managed to down what mummy had prepared(come on la.. who will? considering that its really just plain porridge cooked with spinach!)

ya ya papaya!

Had my first taste of papaya today.. and loved it! nainai said i cried so hard when i finished the papaya.. but she didnt dare to give me anymore since it was the 1st time i was having this fruit.
